WHO ARE WE
We are necessary and brilliant. We are fire starters, magic makers, and earth shakers. This is who we are. She is us and we are her. Here, she exists.
FOUNDER’S NOTE
ELMA BLINT
GatherFit is my gift to each of you. I have long envisioned a safe, equitable space where we can be seen, celebrated, and uplifted. A place where we engage fully, express our vibrant fly-selves, and rise together.
A few years ago, I faced a life-altering health event. It was my commitment to self-care through nurishing food and regular exercise that quite literally saved my life. Today, we are more informed about the genetic factors that impact our health, such as Lipoprotein(a), and we’re learning more each day about how to navigate these risks. We also now know that rest and retiring our capes can lead to positive outcomes.
GatherFit will not simply exist. It is an act, a call, an invitation to move—and to be moved.
For those of you meeting me for the first time, Whaa Gwan! I am an Aries, mother of two amazing boys, an entrepreneur, a budding art collector, an avid traveller, and always an advocate and supporter of Black women. I am honored to be on this journey with you, building a path to wellness and longevity.
Nuff love, Loves!
